RWF VOTI: Chinese Guilds Enter the Race

Last updated: December 17, 2022

Chinese guilds have entered the Vault of the Incarnates Race to World First. Curious about the guilds involved and where to watch? This article will get you up to date!

Update since Sepulcher

In the last RWF event, Sepulcher of the First Ones, Skyline claimed World Third. The second Chinese favorite, Aster, disbanded for various reasons. Most ex-Aster raiders have joined different teams to pursue higher ranks.

The Chinese region has a one-day disadvantage on raid releasing, as their reset is on Thursdays. Despite this disadvantage, CN claimed five of the top 10 spots in Sepulcher of the First Ones. They feel more prepared than ever for the first Dragonflight raid, Vault of the Incarnates.

Blizzard leaving China

On November 17th, as all CN guilds are preparing for the new expansion, Activision Blizzard Entertainment and NetEase released official statements announcing that their 14-year-long cooperation was coming to an end.

The CN WoW scene was immediately plunged into the darkest moment. As CN players, that means their WoW life with Azeroth is only likely to last another month. For the guilds participating in the RWF event, this means Vault of the Incarnates is likely to be their “last dance”. We are excited to see what they can pull off.

Skyline

Skyline is ranked World 3rd in Sepulcher of the First Ones, right behind Echo and Method. Their excellent performance has brought them this far, and they are the best guild in CN. There have been few roster changes for Dragonflight, but notable additions are MDI Champion healer 小太阳, and ex-Aster player 二细.
